{"id":942,"date":"2011-05-09T09:48:57","date_gmt":"2011-05-09T07:48:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.wheresjo.com\/2011\/05\/09\/those-darn-frogs\/"},"modified":"2017-12-21T22:09:52","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T22:09:52","slug":"those-darn-frogs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.wheresjo.com\/?p=942","title":{"rendered":"French Frogs!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.crazyguyonabike.com\/doc\/page\/?o=RrzKj&amp;page_id=187577&amp;v=8\" target=\"_blank\">Day 5  &#8211; Briocquevill-Sur-Mer to Genets  <\/a> (click to view days route in new page)<\/p>\n<p>\nI was woken in the night by someone or something trying to get into our tent.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cWTF is that\u201d I whispered to Mike.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cSnore\u201d replied Mike.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Seriously &#8211; wake up, there is something trying to get into our tent&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mike rolls over and continues to snore.<\/p>\n<p>I turned around and there was a giant frog sliming up the side of our tent. gross! and it wasn&#8217;t just a little pond frog,  it was gigantic &#8211; larger than a small bunny.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMike \u2013 It&#8217;s a giant frog &#8211; get it off, get it off\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSnore\u201d replied Mike.<\/p>\n<p>I had to flick it a few times to get it off when finally it fell to the ground with a thud. So gross, now our tent is covered in frog slime. I couldn&#8217;t sleep in fear of it sliming all our belongings that lay outside the tent.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from the frog episode the day was pretty much the same as the others. There were a few more hills which I  managed to cycle up today. I have started treating the hills as a bit of a challenge and as a result I am starting to enjoy them.<\/p>\n<p>View of Mont Saint Michel<\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/wheresjo.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/dscn0997-cow1.jpg' title='dscn0997-cow.jpg'><img src='http:\/\/wheresjo.files.wordpress.com\/2011\/05\/dscn0997-cow1.jpg' alt='dscn0997-cow.jpg' height=\"480\" width=\"640\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We decided to camp after only 30kms. No point in pushing it is there?<\/p>\n<p>It seems the worse the campground facilities, the more expensive they are. This is the most expensive campsite yet and the facilities are hideous.
