We had planned to spend a few days hiking in the Catskills mountains, but Mike developed a rash. So we went to the doctor and he is now on 3 weeks of antibiotics to try and kill whatever tick borne disease is in his system. After 4 weeks, he then needs to get tested to see if any disease remains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Apparently the first doctor we saw should have treated him immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While Mike is on these antibiotics he needs to keep out of the sun. So we\u2019ve bought him a long sleeve shirt and a floppy hat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
