Sadly we departed our nice apartment in Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise, and started on our journey towards Melbourne. We did a small diversion to Sawn Rocks, just before Narrabri. These were similar rock formations similar to the Giant\u2019s Causeway in Northern Ireland, except the temperature was 30 degrees warmer. We have a picture but we havent downloaded yet.<\/p>\n
We got to a shit hole called Moree, just after 7pm and all the camping grounds were shut. So we had no choice but to stay in a grotty but clean motel. There was nothing in town to eat, and the motel chef had gone home, so they sent us up to the golf club as they have a Thai restaurant there. We sat outside and dined on a lovely Thai meal while the mosquitoes dined on us.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
