<\/a><\/p>\n\nIt takes 2 days to climb. The first night we stayed at base camp which is about 3000m high. I got altitude sickness……yeeech!\n<\/p>\n

The next day we got up at 2am to climb the rest of the way to catch the sunrise from the top. We had to hire a sherpa, but because I was still suffering a little from altitude sickness, Susan and Kate raced on ahead and the sherpa stayed with me as I had to make frequent stops.\n<\/p>\n
